Appsha creates a calendar event
When a visitor confirms a booking, Appsha creates a single event in your Google Calendar. The event contains:
- The visitor’s name
- The visitor’s contact details (email and phone, if provided)
- The session type they booked
- The date and time of the booking
This is the only data Appsha writes to your Google Calendar. No other data is written, modified, or deleted.
Confirmations and reminders are sent automatically

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
Yes. You can set up manual availability in Appsha without connecting to Google Calendar. However, connecting Google Calendar ensures your availability is always accurate and that event bookings are created automatically, removing the need for manual calendar management.
No. Appsha reads only the busy/free status and timing of your existing events enough to know when you are available. It does not read event titles, descriptions, attendees, locations, or any other content from your calendar events.
Appsha immediately stops reading your calendar and stops creating events. If your booking page cannot connect to your availability settings, it will fall back to your manually configured availability settings, or you can disable booking from your dashboard. Any bookings already confirmed remain in your Appsha records.
Yes. Appsha accesses your Google Calendar only through Google's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Your calendar data is transmitted securely and is not stored permanently or shared with any third party. Appsha's access is governed by Google's API Services User Data Policy.
You can review and manage Appsha's access to your Google account at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions. From there, you can see what access has been granted and revoke it if you choose.
